Photo Scanning
YOUR BEST PICTURES DON’T BELONG IN A CLOSET!
Scan Photos
Photo scanning is great for preserving memories, creating slide show presentations, and safeguarding your legacy through the digitization of old images. It has been said that “an image online is worth ten in the closet”, and at ScanCafe, we couldn’t agree more.
The best time to scan photos is now, but “if you are going to do it, do it right!” You should strive for the best quality photo scans so that you can not only take advantage of the latest technologies but also to ensure that your scans are compatible for the future as well. Besides the highest quality and the lowest prices, ScanCafe makes photo scanning even easier than ever with our revolutionary “Smart Choice” Scan Plan.

ScanCafe provides first-class photo scanning and photo preservation using superior photo scanning technology along with free, manual color correction that you will not find anywhere else. In addition, our revolutionary “smart choice” pricing makes it easier than ever.
You have definitely come to the right place to scan photos!
Scan Photos: Comparing Apples to Apples
A pillar of ScanCafe’s service is providing the highest quality scans at the lowest prices. This is fairly obvious when you see our slide scanning and negative scanning services, but it is not as obvious with regard to photo scanning. You may see really low prices for photo scanning from other companies, but these services scan at 150dpi or 300dpi. This simply is not sufficient for quality reprint or enlargement. Perhaps more importantly, these services do not come with the free services that you get at ScanCafe such as color correction, cropping, red eye removal, and dust/scratch removal. Be sure you know what you are getting prior to placing an order. If you are going to take the time to scan your paper photos – make sure you do it once and do it right. As an example, check out our photo scan quality comparisons.
